The Strategic Helpdesks for Information, Education, Livelihood, and Other Developmental Interventions (SHIELD) against Child Labor is a program developed by the DSWD to combat child labor in the Philippines. SHIELD aims to withdraw children from child labor, especially its worst forms, through community-level interventions. It provides holistic and immediate support to child laborers and their families, including case management, educational assistance, and livelihood support.
